County breaks ground on $101M transfer station

The station is being built on a 10.7-acre site that was formerly a rock quarry just south of Auburn and just north of the Algona recycling station (which it will replace), at 35101 W. Valley Highway S.

Nitze-Stagen's 760 Aloha is open for prospective tenants

Contractor R Miller began work on the 760 Aloha St. office conversion project in December of 2021. And last month, the city issued a certificate of occupancy for the now six-story, 40,968-square-foot building. Newmark is brokering the space for owner Nitze-Stagen.

General contractor Foushée and Associates says it recently started construction on the Alpental Logistics distribution center at 43909 S.E. Tanner Road in North Bend.



Concord Pacific rises at 2300 Sixth

The two-tower, 45-story project is slated to have 1,059 apartments and a small amount of office space. Concord Pacific began digging during the pandemic, then paused for a long time before restarting in the fall of last year.
